Kejriwal says they have learnt a lesson. Will you vote for AAP one more time?

People were fed up with policy paralysis, stagnancy in economy, a series of scams, black money, inflation, poor law and order and what not…during UPA-II. Government failed to read their mood, underestimated the ‘common man’. BJP-led NDA further contributed to an atmosphere of negativity. Opposition stalled parliament at every opportunity. Things came to a standstill.

And, that is when came the anti-corruption movement, led by Anna Hazare and his team of social activists with Arvind Kejriwal the architect. The middle class was disillusioned, looking for an alternative. Kejriwal and his team swiftly occupied the vacuum created by BJP for failing to play the role of Opposition.

However, running a government is a different ballgame. Tricked into power by BJP, Kejriwal ruled the city for 49 days to resign on the eve of the Lok Sabha polls and has been repenting till date. Although Kejriwal has admitted it was a mistake to resign, and has promised to never resign if voted once again, the Delhiites may take time to agree with him. It remains to be seen if the AAP chief and his bandwagon have matured enough to run a government for full term.
