Complying to the order of the Supreme Court, the Centre submitted a list of 627 names of foreign account holders in sealed envelopes in the apex court on Wednesday. The court forwarded the names to the SIT, and set a deadline of March 2015 to complete the probe. Find below how people reacted on Twitter to what happened today in the black money case.

Dr. Munish Raizada ‏@DrMunishRaizada:
SC-appointed SIT on #blackmoney HSBC list has 700 names but #blacklist submitted to SC has 627 names. Are 73 names being shielded by Govt?

रचित सेठ ‏@rachitseth
Modi ji is defying treaties for painting dividers in Delhi, wish they would have shown same defiance for #BlackMoney http://scroll.in/article/685700/Delhi-repaints-its-traffic-dividers-pink-and-green,-defying-global-treaty-on-road-safety …

MediaCrooks ‏@mediacrooks
What the SC said was this: “You cannot garland my wife.. Only we will do it.. So give us the garland.. we’ll do it”

Shweta Rajpal Kohli ‏@ShwetaKohliNDTV
So SIT had the list, the SC has again given the list to the SIT Is that the end of the much hyped #blackmoney story? At least for today 🙂

Shiv Aroor ‏@ShivAroor:
Basically, the SIT now has two copies of the #BlackMoney list?

Dr. Munish Raizada ‏@DrMunishRaizada:
Jethmalani is dot on point, says Modi Govt’s “confidentiality card was a FRAUD”. Govt must explain reason 4 keeping #BlackMoney list secret.

Mrityunjoy Kumar Jha ‏@Mrityunjoykjha:
Out of 600+ names, abt half NRIs who dont come under the Indian law.. rest Indians & some of them surely be genuine #BlackMoney

Chitra Subramaniam ‏@chitraSD:
So the SIT didn’t have the list. Here’s was we said last week. http://bit.ly/1uP0gOt

Alok Bhatt ‏@alok_bhatt:
Fact of the matter is no ONE- I repeat not ONE person is clean when it comes to #BlackMoney and any real action on that wud kill economy
