VARANASI: Ever since the Bharatiya Janata Party announced candidature of Narendra Modi from Varanasi for the upcoming 2014 general elections, all eyes are set on the temple city. Two days after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal announced his desire to take on Modi, the Congress now plans to field its senior leader and former CM of Madhya Pradesh Digvijay Singh against the Gujarat strongman.

Modi has not yet found time to visit the city since his last rally in December. However, another Modi is making rounds for him in the city, asking people to vote for Modi in large number.

Abhinandan Pathak, a Modi lookalike, arrived here on Holi and has been canvassing support for Modi. Dressed up like the popular leader, Pathak is making rounds of the city, accompanied with BJP workers and supporters. Wherever he goes, people gather in no time and start following him. The local leadership of BJP is excited to see the kind of support he has been getting from public in last couple of days. Pathak claims to be a strong supporter of Modi.

Who will win from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat?
