INDORE: After sweating it out in the heat and dust of elections, Bharatiya Janata Party workers have started preparing invites for Narendra Modi’s coronation as the next Prime Minister even before the final showdown on May 16.

As per a report published on the Timesofindia.com, more than 6,000 invitation cards were distributed before the final phase of polling could end on Monday and party workers are expected to distribute another 10,000 in the next few days. Social media too is being used as an effective source for sending invites.

Featuring Modi’s picture, invites are being distributed to one and all urging people to celebrate beginning of ‘Achche Din’ and to join them for firecracker show at Palasia.

BJP’s Pandit Mahesh Joshi of Shivaji Mandal, who has printed cards said, “People have already given their mandate for making Narendra Modi as next PM. We only need an official announcement in the regard.” Joshi said people are quite excited to receive the invites.

Elaborating the arrangements made for the D-Day, he said a big LCD screen will be installed on Palasia crossing, where people can see counting of votes, besides snacks will be served to everyone.

The highlight of the event would be fireworks show. “There will be fireworks for every seat won by our party. The number of which will increase with every winning seat,” he said.

Joshi has also prepared a special ‘rath’ with photographs of Modi and other leaders flashing slogan ‘MP mai Shivraj, Delhi mai Modi’. After the formal announcement is made we will carry out a victory rally on the rath.
