BJP, Congress in neck and neck fight in Chhattisgarh

RAIPUR: Trends from Chhattisgarh at 11.30 am showed a neck and neck contest between ruling BJP and opposition Congress leading in 26 seats each and NCP in one in the 90-member state Assembly.

The wife of Salwa Judum founder and Congress leader Mahendra Karma, who was killed in the Naxalite attack in Bastar, was leading in Dantewada constituency.

The constituencies in which Congress is leading include Kharsiya, Kota, Dantewada and Bhanupratappur, as per the state election commission office.

BJP is set to retain power in Madhya Pradesh and come back in Rajasthan and Delhi.
