Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Mizoram, and bye-elections in two Assembly seats of Surat West, Gujarat & Yercaud (ST) Tamil Nadu are to begin on November 11 till December 4. The results of the polls will be announced on December 8.
For the first time, voters will get the right to reject all candidates in the electoral fray in the elections. This followed a landmark decision by the Supreme Court last month. The Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath announced this in Delhi on Friday.
Chhattisgarh
