Dhoni could have laughed off the recent spat between Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan. But the differences between the players is evident, more so after team India lost the first two matches and a draw in the third test though India had a distinct advantage over the Aussies.

All said and done, Dhoni’s retirement decision brought an end to a illustrious career in Test cricket. Out of the 90 Tests he played, Dhoni led India in 60 matches. Dhoni finished with most Test wins as India captain (27), beating the previous best of 21 by Sourav Ganguly.
