At Jadhavpur University in West Bengal, students are being attacked by state police and Trinamool goons at midnight as the students were protesting against molestation in campus.
The video shows cops and a group of people who claim to be police in civil dress beating the students brutally. Even girl students were not spared. While police said they had to apply force to save the V-C and university authorities from the agitating students, the latter denied there was any provocation. Girl students said they were beaten on chest and molested by plain-clothed policemen and lumpen elements at midnight.
